Last summer when it was just you and me
I don't remember a thing
But the fact we met

I don't remember the break
I don't remember the cries
I don't remember the change
I don't remember the warning
All I remember is
I met you
We talked
And know I'm here now..

And now that I look back
It's quite scary
That I went through a whole summer
That now
I don't remember

It's scary to know
I don't remember what I said to anymore
What I did
That truly seemed to creep people out
Or even how I've gotten like I am today

All I know is there were plenty of goodbyes
A lot of changes
And apparently a lot of warnings
That I truly don't remember hearing

They all say I was blind
But I was more than blind
I was lost
I was in another world
And truly to this day
I still wonder about that summer

I still wonder truly what happened
Cause all that's left are other peoples stories
That truly are fading
And my memory is useless

It's scary to think about the fact
I have no memory 
Whatsoever of last summer
And that I'll never truly know what I did at all

But I guess that's one thing 
That happens
When the love gets the best of you

But truly I'll always wonder about that summer
And where I went
One summer day.
